HerCoreFitness is dedicated to empowering women through strength training. Our approach centres on core stability, progressive strength training, and expert pre- and postnatal coaching, helping women feel capable, confident, and strong at every stage of life.

About

My name is Lynn Fitzsimons

I founded HerCoreFitness because I know firsthand the life-changing impact that strength training can have on a woman’s body and confidence.

As a teenager, I underwent major spinal surgery for Scoliosis. In the years that followed, I did everything the medical professionals advised, but it wasn’t until I discovered strength training that I truly began my road to recovery. Lifting weights gave me not only physical strength but also the confidence and resilience I had been missing since surgery.

Later, as a mum, I continued to strength train throughout my pregnancy. This undoubtedly led me to a stronger pregnancy, an empowered birth, and a smooth recovery back to fitness.

I hold a Personal Training Diploma (Levels 2 & 3) along with a specialised certification in Pre and Postnatal Fitness. This means every program I create is built on both evidence-based knowledge and lived experience.

At HerCoreFitness, my mission is simple: to debunk the myths around women and strength training, especially during pregnancy and postpartum. Whether you’re prenatal, postnatal, or simply ready to return to fitness, I’ll help you reconnect with your strength from within, safely, confidently, and without judgment.
